Making Recovery a priority

Having a rest day in a scheduled program doesn’t mean to just rest. It means take advantage of the rest and get some good recovery in. Although you practice recovery each day, this scheduled “rest day” is a great time to dedicate to longer time foam rolling, flexibility, core stability and/or light walking. these are all great ways to recover from your intense workouts and get you feeling ready to go for the next day. I went ahead and took advantage of some time today and tackled my recovery. I felt tired at the beginning, just check out the video below ⬇️, I’m sure you could tell. As I finished my routine I felt like I could take on the rest of the day and my body didn’t feel so stiff. Utilize your tools and your time to take care of your self. Remember “rest day” teally means dive deeper into your #Recovery.
